Country Finance Manager
Responsible for all finance and administration issues related to WCS operations in Rwanda.
Madeleine Nyiratuza
Project Manager
Joined in 2012 to especially manage an ecosystem monitoring grant with Conservation International.
Mediatrice Bana
Nyungwe Forest Conservation Project Director
Joined WCS in 2011. Served as Sustainable Financing Officer until September, 2015.From 2015 she oversees Nyungwe Project activities.
Michel Masozera
Director Policy and Institutional Partnerships- Africa
A former Project Director in Nyungwe, returned as Country Director in 2010. Extensive experience in environmental economics and PES.
Nicolas Ntare
Conservation & Research Officer
Joined the project as a student, studied Owl-faced monkeys. Now supervising trans-boundary activities in Kibira and general research and monitoring of Nyungwe.
Protais Niyigaba
Biodiversity Monitoring Officer
Protais Niyigaba joined WCS in 2014 as a Conservation Leadership Program (CLP) Intern and was hired in 2015 as the Biodiversity Monitoring Officer at WCS.
